August 2nd 2008: Congratulations Dawn!

We send a warm congratulations to Dawn Merrett who has been awarded the prestigious Mackenzie King Scholarship valued at approximately $11,000 (CDN). This scholarship is awarded to only one person per year and was formed through a trust under the will of the late Rt. Hon. William Mackenzie King (1874-1950), the 10th Prime Minister of Canada. Dawn is a combined Neuropsychology/Phd student examining the area of music cognition for her research. For more information about the Mackenzie King Scholarship visit their website. Well done Dawn!

April 12th 2008: Congratulations Angie!

Congratulations to our NSS President Angie Jackman who was one of only two students in the whole faculty awarded a prestigious faculty travel grant to attend the International Student Forum on Medical Research, USA. Angie's research is in the area of sleep medicine and we look forward to hearing news of her travels in June.
